Petes 2015-16 Regular Season Schedule Released

(Peterborough, ON)- The Peterborough Petes 2015-16 regular season schedule is now available in conjunction with the release of the full OHL regular season schedule. The Petes will kick off their 60th season at home on Thursday, September 24, 2015 against the East Division Rival Ottawa 67's.

Some key games in the 2015/16 season include the following:

* Home opener: Thursday, September 24 vs. Ottawa - 7:05pm

* Road opener: Friday, September 25 @ North Bay - 7:00pm (North Bay's home opener)

* First game vs. Oshawa: Friday, October 2, 2015 @ Oshawa - 7:35pm

* First game vs. Flint: Sunday, October 11, 2015 @ Flint - 5:00pm

* First home game vs. Oshawa: Thursday, October 22, 2015 vs. Oshawa - 7:05pm

* First game vs. Hamilton: Sunday, November 15, 2015 @Hamilton - 3:00pm

* New Year's Eve: Thursday, December 31, 2015 vs. Guelph - 6:05pm

* Family Day game: Monday, February 15, 2016 vs. Windsor - 2:05pm

* Final game of season: Saturday, March 19, 2016 @ Niagara - 7:00pm

The Petes and OHL continue the tradition of being primarily a weekend league to accommodate our student athletes. Of its 68-game schedule, Peterborough plays 21 games on Thursday, 17 on Friday, 15 on Saturday, 9 on Sunday, and just 6 games from Monday-Wednesday.

Special game nights, including the many community and charity games and events in celebration of the 60th anniversary season, will be announced later this summer. Petes season tickets are still on sale, with 10- and 20-ticket flex packages on sale in late-June and single-game tickets available in September.
