Chihuahuas Fall to Albuquerque 3-2 Tuesday

The Albuquerque Isotopes held the El Paso Chihuahuas to four hits in their 3-2 victory Tuesday night. The Chihuahuas have dropped the first two games of their three-game road trip.
The Chihuahuas scored their first runs of the series in the top of the second inning when Brett Wallace hit a deep home run over Isotopes Hill in straightaway center field to give El Paso a 1-0 lead. The homer appeared to travel approximately 420 feet. Rocky Gale's RBI double made it 2-0 later in the inning.
Albuquerque scored two unanswered runs in the bottom of the second and the 2-2 score held until the eighth inning when Drew Stubbs' go-ahead single gave the Isotopes a 3-2 lead.
Chihuahuas' starter Robbie Erlin pitched six innings and did not allow an earned run in the no-decision.
El Paso first baseman Tommy Medica was ejected in the seventh inning after arguing a caught stealing.
