Forward Jesse Mychan Returns for Second Stint with Eagles

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles announced Tuesday that they have signed forward Jesse Mychan for the 2015-16 season. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound winger spent the past season overseas with the Cardiff Devils of the EIHL, where he registered 25 points and 157 penalty minutes in 44 games.

Mychan began his professional career with the Eagles during the 2013-14 season, producing 262 penalty minutes, which lead all ECHL rookies and was good for 2nd in the ECHL, overall. In addition, Mychan also contributed 11 goals and seven assists. He would also earn a call-up to the AHL, where he would see action in three contests with the Portland Pirates.

Prior to turning pro, the Sasktoon, Sakatchewan native played two seasons in the WHL with the Everett Silvertips and the Tri-City Americans. During the 2012-13 campaign, Mychan racked up 42 points in 60 games with the Americans, including 19 goals. In addition, Mychan also registered 111 penalty minutes during the season and totaled 237 PIM's in his two seasons in the WHL.
