2015 Augusta GreenJackets Father's Day Contest Unveiled

AUGUSTA, GA: The Augusta GreenJackets, Single-A affiliate of the 2014 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants, in conjunction with BeStill Displays are excited to announce a 2015 Father's Day Social Media Contest. The contest will be conducted from Monday, June 15th starting at 12:00pm and will end Friday, June 19th at 12:00pm.

The GreenJackets and BeStill Displays are giving fans a chance to showcase their best baseball Dad pictures to enter in on a chance to win prizes to our Father's Day Celebration on Sunday, June 21st as the Augusta GreenJackets take on the Savannah Sand Gnats at 5:05pm.

Throughout the week as fans submit their photos, the GreenJackets staff will be reviewing photos that display the most GreenJacket, baseball, and Father's Day spirit. The pictures can range from a picture of your Dad playing catch to a picture of the whole family celebrating a day at ballpark.

"The Augusta GreenJackets are excited to team with BeStill Displays to showcase Father's with a special promotion in celebration of Father's Day," stated Tom Denlinger General Manager. "We encourage fans to find their best picture and to showcase your Dad to the CSRA."

The GreenJackets are asking fans to submit their photos on one of the follow social media platforms; Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram Listed below are the rules on how each fan must submit their photo to qualify for a chance to win. (Fans are more than welcome submit photos on more than one social media platform, but to qualify all you have to do is one!)

Contest Rules: Facebook To qualify to win fans must:

ii. Post picture of a father (baseball orientated)

iii. Tag the GreenJackets and use the #JrJacketsDad in post Twitter To qualify to win fans must:

iv. Follow the GreenJackets twitter account

v. Post the picture of a father (baseball orientated)

vi. In post, tweet at the GreenJackets and us the #JrJacketsDad Instagram To qualify to win fans must:

vii. Follow the GreenJackets Instagram account

viii. Post a picture of a father (baseball orientated)

ix. In picture post, mention the GreenJackets and use the #JrJacketsDad

Throughout the week the GreenJackets will be re-posting pictures of submitted photos from the contest that we believe could end up being the lucky winners. The re-posted pictures will be up on the GreenJackets Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages. Make sure to keep up with our social media pages because your picture just may be chosen as a re-post or better yet the winning photo!

The Sunday, June 21st game will feature a Father's Day Celebration where the first 500 fans will receive a free Cintas Golf Towel. As part of Father's Day the GreenJackets are offering a $20 special for a Father's Day picnic on our SweetWater Draft House, this is available on an individual purchase basis and includes your tickets and a 90 minute-all-you-eat buffet. Tickets must be purchased in advance call the GreenJackets Front Office at (706) 922-WINS to purchase. Post-game Fathers and children can run the bases.

As always every Sunday, is a Junior 'Jackets Kids Club Game. Where members of the Junior 'Jackets receive FREE admission into Lake Olmstead Stadium for the game. Kids Club Members can participate in pre-game catch on the field, a high five tunnel, play ball kid, and so much more!
