D.C. United Maintain First in Eastern Conference Despite 1-0 Loss at Orlando City

Orlando, Fla. (June 14, 2015) - D.C. United (8-5-4, 28 points) missed out on an opportunity to claim three victories in a row over Orlando City, dropping a 1-0 decision to the Lions (5-5-5, 20 points) before 30,054 at the Citrus Bowl.
Bill Hamid saved a penalty kick by Kaká in the 30th minute but the Brazilian attacker headed in the rebound for the game's only goal.
Despite the loss, United remains in first place in the Eastern Conference at the midway point of its 2015 season (17 games played).
D.C. United returns to action against New England on Sunday, June 21 (ESPN2, 5).
*D.C. United lost back-to-back games for the first time in 2015, and the first time since August 2014 (1-0 at Houston on 8/3/14, 3-0 at Real Salt Lake on 8/9/14).
*D.C. United lost for the first time against Orlando City after a 1-0 victory at the Citrus Bowl on April 3 and a 2-1 win at RFK Stadium on May 13. United's overall record against Orlando City is 2-1-0.
*D.C. United utilized its 16th different starting lineup in 17 games.
*Head Coach Ben Olsen's overall record is now 57-69-39. He is 2-1-0 vs. Orlando City.
