AUGUSTA, GA - The Augusta GreenJackets, South Atlantic League affiliate of the 2014 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants, have announced their 9th annual Military Appreciation Night at Lake Olmstead Stadium. The event will be held during the Saturday, July 25th game against the Delmarva Shorebirds (Baltimore Orioles).
"The GreenJackets in partnership with local businesses continue to grow this night year after year," stated Tom Denlinger General Manager. "This is our opportunity to thank the men and woman at Fort Gordon and throughout the region for their tireless service and allow them and their families a night of fun at Lake Olmstead Stadium."
On Military Appreciation Night, the GreenJackets look to recognize and honor the soldiers and their families for the dedication, commitment, and sacrifices they make for our nation. The GreenJackets will also wear patriotic uniforms that evening, which will be auctioned off during the game.
Businesses throughout the CSRA have the opportunity to help the GreenJackets honor soldiers and their families from Fort Gordon with sponsorship packages. Packages range from $100 to $1000 and include public address and game program recognition, VIP seats to the game, and seats donated to military families.
