DUNEDIN, FL - The Dunedin Blue Jays are thrilled to once again host Beer, Bacon and Fireworks Night at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium. The event will be held on Friday, June 12th when the Dunedin Blue Jays welcome the Lakeland Flying Tigers to town.
Beer, Bacon and Fireworks is a night that combines all the things that make the baseball experience so fun for all fans. The excitement at the ballpark will begin at 6:00PM and gates for the first game of the series will open at 5:30PM.
For 10 dollars ($10), fans will receive a game ticket and be able to enjoy a bacon sampling from the restaurants that will be in attendance from 6:00-8:00PM. Those restaurants include: Chicago Deli, Eddies Bar and Grill, The Chic-A-Boom Room, Shor American Seafood Grill, Lenny's Restaurant, The Dunedin Smokehouse, Home Plate, Clear Sky Draught Haus, Marguerite's Café, Jet's Pizza, Sweet Peas Café, and Brick House.
There is no doubt that all the great bacon sampling will lead to thirst, so a number of craft beer vendors will be on hand and they include: Kona Brewing, Dunedin Brewery, Sweet Water Brewing, Cigar City Brewing, Goose Island, Coppertail Brewing, Blue Point Brewing, Tampa Bay Brewing, Sea Dog Brewing, Wildmer Brothers, Big Storm Brewing, Red Hook, Three Daughters Brewing, Dunedin House of Beer, Seventh Sun Brewery, and Bold City Brewery. Fans can enjoy a five (5) ounce craft beer for one dollar ($1) each.
In the spirit of sport, there has to be a little competition involved. Fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite bacon sample from the evening's festivities. Additionally, the evening of beer, bacon, and baseball will be capped by a fireworks show for all fans to enjoy.
