The Bulls play game two of a three-game set against the Syracuse Chiefs in the second series of a nine-game, 11-day homestand. Durham is 3-1 over the first four games of the homestand, and is 6-1 over its last seven games. Still, the Bulls have gained just half a game in the IL South in that span. Syracuse - the Washington Nationals' top affiliate - has lost five straight, and is just 1-12 over its last 13 games to drop from 16-19 to 17-31.
