Sugar Land Skeeters Host Teacher Appreciation Month

SUGAR LAND, TEXAS - The Sugar Land Skeeters will kick off a celebration of summer by offering two free tickets to all teachers from the Greater Houston, Fort Bend and surrounding areas on Thursday, June 11 at Constellation Field. June is Teacher Appreciation month at the ballpark and all teachers can receive a discounted ticket to any home game in June.

"We know how hard teachers work during the school year and we couldn't think of a better way to celebrate the start of summer by thanking them for all that they do," said Skeeters General Manager Chris Jones.

Thursday, June 11 will mark the official kick off date for Teacher Appreciation Month and, along with the two free tickets, the Skeeters will have their signature Thirsty Thursday two dollar beer and soda promotion running through the seventh inning for all teachers and fans.

To receive the two free tickets, teachers must show their teacher I.D. at the Skeeters TDECU Ticket Office located at Constellation Field. For the discounted teacher tickets, teachers can head to SugarLandSkeeters.com and use the promo code Teachers for any and all remaining June Skeeters home games.

The month of June offers a variety of exciting giveaways and fun promotions for teachers to be a part of including, Team Card Set Giveaway courtesy of Memorial Hermann (June 13), Swatson's Birthday (June 14), '80s Night (June 25) and Bark in the Park sponsored by Texas Direct Auto (June 27).
