PFL Announces Player Combine for August in Orlando

FRISCO, TX _ It's fitting that the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort will host the PFL Player Combine considering futsal is played worldwide.
The PFL is slated to host two talent searches in August as part of the PFL SuperCopa and the World Futsal Championships (one of the largest youth and amateur futsal tournaments in the world) in Orlando.
The first combine runs August 3-4 and the second session is scheduled for August 7-8.
Each combine features two sessions on the first day followed by a morning session on the second day. The top-10 futsal players from the first day and a half will be invited to play in the 3:30 p.m. PFL SuperCopa match on the second day.
PFL commissioner and U.S. Futsal Men's National Team Head Coach Keith Tozer will direct the combines.
"We are very much looking forward to our player combine at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando after the great success of our 1st combine in Dallas," Tozer said. "Because of that success we have extended the amount of players to participate in the professional matches from 6 to 20. This time we will select 10 players from each combine to play against some of the top teams and players from Brazil and Australia. This is a great opportunity for the PFL and its future teams to identify players as well as a chance of a lifetime for the players themselves."

Cost is $125 per session and it includes a PFL t-shirt.
