Binetti to Call Post 22 Baseball
May 28, 2015 - ECHL (ECHL) - Rapid City Rush News Release
(RAPID CITY, SD) - The Rapid City Rush, in conjunction with Haugo Broadcasting, announced today that the Director of Media Relations and "Voice of the Rush", Mark Binetti, will be the primary play-by-play broadcaster for the Post 22 Hardhats baseball team this summer.
"I am extremely honored to have the opportunity to call play-by-play for Post 22 baseball this summer," said Binetti. "It feels great to support local sports in our great community of Rapid City, especially on behalf of the Rush organization. To broadcast the games of another hometown team with a large following, and historically one of the most elite programs in all of American Legion Baseball is a privilege that I am very grateful for."
Binetti, entering his third season with the Rush organization, will call the games on ESPN Radio Rapid City 1340 AM alongside his partner, former Post 32 Third-Baseman Teddy Leipold. The inaugural game broadcast for Post 22 will be tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. as the Hardhats take on Post 320.
