RALSTON, NE - The United States Hockey League named 19 players to the annual All-USHL Teams on Thursday and Jakob Forsbacka-Karlsson along with Jimmy Schuldt were selected to the All-USHL Third Team.
Schuldt, a three year veteran of the Lancers recorded his best season in Omaha with a 39 point performance in 59 games played. In a total of 122 games in that three year span, the St. Cloud State commit had 66 points. This past season, Schuldt ranked sixth overall among league defensemen in the USHL with 39 points and third in goals with 13.
Jakob Forsbacka-Karlsson will head to Boston University next season and is coming off his best year with the Lancers including being named Team West MVP at the USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Dubuque, IA.
The Stockholm, Sweden native led the team in total points and assists in 50 games played. Forsbacka-Karlsson finished the 2014-2015 regular season with 15 goals and 38 assists. In 2013-2014, his first year in Omaha, Forsbacka-Karlsson had 33 points while not missing a single game.
