A day after being swept in a doubleheader, the Lemurs came back to stomp the AirHogs on Thursday morning. The Lemurs scored in each of the first five innings, including four-run first. Eight Lemurs had a hit, and five had doubles. 3B Kevin Taylor, SS Abel Nieves and RF Denis Phipps had three hits each. DH Tony Delmonico had a team high three RBI, including a two-run double in the fourth.
The AirHogs were held to only four hits on the day. C Zane Chavez had a triple, and 1B Victor Diaz had a double and two RBI.
RHP Sam Martin earned the win in relief, as he struck out two in three innings.
