May 26, 2015 - International League (IL1)
Buffalo Bisons News Release
The next great ballpark tradition is just days away. Superhero Night, presented by Niagara County Community College, is Saturday, May 30th at Coca-Cola Field as the Bisons host the villainous Red Wings from Rochester (5:05 p.m.). (CLICK HERE to purchase Superhero Night tickets).
What's in store for our heroes on the field and off? Well, just like the bad guy unnecessarily explaining the entire plot just moments before his evil plot is foiled, here's everything you need to know about Bisons Superhero Night!
HOLY AWESOME FAN GUIDE!
First Pitch/Gates
Don't just get to the ballpark in the nick of time! Get to the ballpark early! First pitch between the Bisons and the Red Wings is at a special time of 5:05 p.m. and the gates open at 4:00 p.m. If you plan to use ballpark Will Call, the Coca-Cola Field Box Office will be open on Saturday starting at noon.
Tickets and 4-Packs
If you're going to save the day, you'll need the Bisons Superhero Pack that is as useful as a trusty cape! Oh thank you, Superhero 4-Pack!
For only $72, you get 4 Reserved Seat Tickets to Superhero Night for you and your three favorite sidekicks as well as $20 in Bisons Bucks for use at the Coca-Cola Field concession stands. And don't worry if your superhero suit isn't complete, because this pack also comes with 2 Superhero Capes that will help you dash in and save the day! These packs will not be sold on Saturday, May 30, so make sure you purchase yours in advance.
Where are my heroes?
Coca-Cola Field might just be the safest place on the planet this Saturday night. OVER 20 SUPERHERO Characters will be in the ballpark ready to meet and take pictures with as soon as gates open. Head to the Washington St. Gate to get your picture taken with your favorite hero starting at 4:00 p.m. Make sure you get to the ballpark early to meet everyone!
What are your super powers?
There's no telling when evil will hatch their plans. That's why we want all the young superheroes from Western New York and Southern Ontario to come ready for action! The Bisons are encouraging all fans to come dressed as your favorite superhero! There will be costume contests throughout the game and we'll select our favorites to show the entire crowd!
I'm missing my trusty superhero cape!
No worries,...we got you covered! The Bisons will be selling Logo Superhero Capes near the Washington St. Gate. The perfect way to complete your uniform! Logo Superhero Capes will be just $7.00 with proceeds to benefit the Superhero Race & Wellness Walk, which supports the Compeer of Great Buffalo Mentoring Program and the Mental Health Association of Erie County, Inc.
Did you order a Superhero 4-Pack? Your purchase includes two Superhero Capes. Just bring the vouchers included in your package to the Washington St. Gate to pick up your capes.
The coolest car ever!
Let's be honest...We all wish our car was the Batmobile. One of the most famous automobiles in television history, the original Batmobile will be at Coca-Cola Field. From 3 p.m. - 4:45 p.m., you can have your picture taken with the Batmobile for a small donation to the Superhero Race & Wellness Walk. Very Cool!
Who will save the day!?!?
Watch with excitement as devious Villains look to take over Cola-Cola Field while the Superheroes might just be called in to save the day. Watch the scoreboard before the post-game live show that leads the action right into an awesome post-game pyrotechnics display.
