May 25, 2015 - International League (IL1)
Buffalo Bisons News Release

The International League today named Buffalo Bisons INF MATT HAGUE its 'Batter-of-the-Week' for the period from May 18-24. Hague is the second Bisons player to be honored with the award this week, joining current Blue Jays' slugger Chris Colabello (April 20-26).

Hague hit .414 (12-29) over the past week with eight doubles, nine RBI and four runs scored in just seven games. The veteran had a .690 slugging pct. as the Herd went 4-3 on their seven-game roadtrip to Columbus and Toledo. Hague's eight doubles were three more extra-base hits than any other International League hitter during the week. He hit three doubles and drove in three runs on May 21 in Toledo and had another three doubles on May 22 against the Mud Hens, this time driving in five.

For the season, Hague leads the IL with 57 hits, 15 doubles, 80 total bases, and 31 RBI, and is 2nd in the League in hitting with a .350 average. This is the second career IL weekly award for Hague, who was previously honored in 2013 while with Indianapolis (May 20-26).
