You'll want to be here when the gates open at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, May 27th as Western Fraternal Life will be passing out $500 to all fans age 18 and older as part of Free Money Wednesday. The Kernels welcome special guests from Bowman Woods and Westfield Elementary to the game. First pitch between the Kernels and Timber Rattlers is set for 6:35 PM.

Former MLB relief pitcher Lee Smith will be at Perfect Game Field on Thursday, May 28th when the Kernels take on Wisconsin at 6:35 PM. Lee will sign autographs before the game from 5:15 until 6:00 PM and then again after the game starts from 6:45 until 7:30 PM on the concourse. Gates for Thursday's game will open early at 5:00 PM! Thanks to First Federal Credit Union, three fans age 18 and older will win a 32" flat screen TV. Fans 18 and older can register at the First Federal Credit Union table to win one of three 32" flat screen TVs and you must be present to win. It's also a Z 102.9 Thirsty Thursday where 12 oz. regular draft beer and 20 oz. bottled soda and water are just $2.00! And, it's Little Caesar's College Night. Show your college ID at the Kernels Ticket Office and get a Club ticket and two slices of Little Caesar's Pizza for just $8! Remember, gates open at 5:00 PM and first pitch between the Kernels and Wisconsin is set for 6:35 PM.

May 29 - June 1 vs. Clinton

The Kernels continue a seven game home stand with four games against the Clinton LumberKings, the Midwest League affiliate of the Seattle Mariners.

May the force be with you! It's Star Wars Night on Friday, May 29th. The first 1,000 fans through the gates when they open at 4:30 PM receive a FREE Kernels Star Wars T-Shirt. The Kernels will wear special Star Wars jerseys that will be sold via a silent auction during the game with the proceeds to benefit Greg's Mission. Come dressed in your favorite Star Wars costume as members from the 501st Central Garrison will be on hand for photos throughout the game. The American Youth Soccer Association (AYSO) will play an exhibition game on the field from 4:45 until 5:30 PM. It's a 98.1 KHAK Kernels Friday Mug Club Night. Buy a 16 oz. souvenir mug for $6.00 and get it filled with regular draft beer or soda at the concession stands. Refills are just $3.00 the rest of the game. Bring your mug back to every Kernels Friday home game and get $3.00 refills. First pitch between the Kernels and LumberKings is set for 6:35 PM.

The Kernels are hosting their annual Youth Baseball Clinic for boys and girls ages 5-12 from 9 to 11 AM on Saturday, May 30th. The cost of the clinic is $15 in advance and $20 the morning of the clinic. Here's a chance to learn basic baseball skills such as catching, throwing and hitting from the Kernels players and coaches. That night, it's another post-game FIREWORKS show when the Kernels take on Clinton at 6:35 PM. The first 1,000 fans through the gates, age 13 and older can receive a free admission pass to the Great Jones County Fair. There will be Face Painting by Kennedy on the concourse during the game and the gates open at 5:30 PM. Fireworks nights are VERY popular so make sure to order your tickets online at www.kernels.com or call the Kernels Ticket Office at 896-7560 now.

It's a Jimmy John's Run the Bases Sunday (media sponsor 104.5 KDAT) when the Kernels take on Clinton at 2:05 PM on Sunday, May 31st. Fans can run the bases, play catch in the outfield and get autographs from the Kernels on the field after the game. Play Travel Advisors Baseball Bingo during the game for a chance to win a trip to Minneapolis and see the Twins play. Every Sunday home game, Goodwill is collecting donations - if a fan brings 10 or more donation items, they receive a coupon for a buy one ticket, get one free offer for a future Sunday Kernels home game. It's also a New Belgium Brewing Bike to the Ballpark Game - fans are encouraged to ride their bikes to the games and park them in the secure parking area inside the stadium. Win prizes from New Belgium Brewing and Fleck Sales just for riding your bike to the ballpark. Enjoy Papa Balloon, Face Painting by Kennedy and Magician Jackson Green on the concourse during the game. Gates open at 1:00 PM.

Take a break and enjoy some daytime baseball when the Kernels take on Clinton at 12:05 PM on Monday, June 1st. It's our second noon game of the season, sponsored by Z 102.9. Enjoy our noon game lunch combo special consisting of a regular sandwich, chips or popcorn, and a 16 oz. regular draft beer, 20 oz. bottled soda or water for just $8.50 at the concession stands. It's also Mark Down Monday where regular hot dogs are $1.50 and small popcorn, ice cream sandwiches, chips and Cracker Jacks are each just $1.00. Gates open at 11:00 AM.

Run the Bases Sunday, presented by Jimmy John's: After every Sunday home game, kids (and adults) can run the bases, play catch on the field and get autographs from the Kernels, sponsored by Jimmy John's with media sponsor 104.5 KDAT. Enjoy the balloon artistry of Papa Balloon, face painting by Kennedy and Magician Jackson Green on the main concourse during the game.

Travel Advisors Baseball Bingo: Every Sunday home Kernels game, play Travel Advisors Baseball Bingo, co-sponsored by the Radisson near Mall of America, for a chance to win a trip to Minneapolis and see a Twins game. Five winners are chosen each Sunday and the finals are Sunday, September 6th.

Goodwill Donation Sunday: At every Sunday home game, Goodwill will be collecting donations at the main gates. If a fan brings 10 or more donation items, they receive a coupon for a buy one ticket, get one free deal from Goodwill to a future Sunday Kernels home game.

Mark Down Monday: Regular hot dogs are $1.50, plus small popcorn, ice cream sandwiches, chips and Cracker Jacks are each $1 on Monday home games.

Twins Tuesday, presented by Great Clips: Get an on-line coupon from the Kernels Facebook page or email newsletter for a 2 for 1 ticket offer at Tuesday home games as part of Twins Tuesday, presented by Great Clips. The Kernels will wear special jerseys that will be sold via a silent auction at the September 5th game and one lucky fan will win a pair of Minnesota Twins tickets given away at every Tuesday home game.

Free Money Wednesday, presented by Western Fraternal Life: Western Fraternal Life will give away $500 at the main gates to fans age 18 and older at every Wednesday home game with $100 as the top cash prize.

Flat Screen Thursday, presented by First Federal Credit Union: Every Thursday home game, fans age 18 and older can sign up at the First Federal Credit Union table on the concourse to win one of three 32" flat screen TV's that will be given away during the game. You must be present to win.

Thirsty Thursday, sponsored by Z 102.9: 12 oz. regular draft beer, 20 oz. bottled soda and water are just $2.00 all game. Every Thursday home game is also Little Caesars College Night. Tickets for all Kernel home games are available on-line at www.kernels.com; in person at the Kernels Ticket Office, or by calling 896-7560 during Ticket Office Hours. The Kernels Ticket Office is open from 10 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday and from 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday. The ticket office is closed on Sunday, but opens at 11 AM on Kernel Sunday Home games.
