Chiefs Rained out at QC Sunday

Davenport, IA- The Peoria Chiefs and Quad Cities River Bandits game scheduled for Sunday afternoon has been postponed by rain. The two teams will play a double header Monday at 4:00 p.m. and both games are scheduled for seven innings.

The Chiefs are expected to start LH Austin Gomber (3-3, 2.93) and RH Daniel Poncedeleon (4-0, 1.82) in the Monday double header. Quad Cities is scheduled to start RH Kevin Comer (4-0, 4.76) and RH Francis Martes (0-0, 2.25). The Monday double header will be the final matchup between the two teams in the first half of the season. Quad Cities leads the season series 7-1 after taking the first two games of the series 8-1 and 2-0.
