Allen Americans Celebrate vs. Ontario Reign

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans and Ontario Reign play Game 2 of the ECHL Western Conference Finals tonight in Allen at 7:05 pm. The Americans lead the best of seven series, 1-0.
Chad Costello led the way last night for Allen, scoring a goal and assisting on three others. Greger Hanson, who leads the Americans in postseason goals, scored his 8th & 9th of the playoffs. Chris Crane has been red hot for Allen, scoring in his 4th straight game.
"Last night was a big win for us," said Americans forward Gary Steffes. "We needed a big start to the series and we got a strong game from everybody."
The Americans were outshot for only the second time in the postseason on Sunday, 28-22. Allen is outshooting its opponents 434-292 for the playoffs.
Riley Gill is expected to get the start in net again for Allen. He has won six straight postseason games, and now has a record of 6-1. Gill stopped 26 of 28 shots yesterday, including a big save on a breakaway by Ontario's Matt White.
The Reign are 2-0 in Game 2's this postseason, with a 4-1 win over Colorado in Round 1, and a 6-2 win over Utah in Round 2.
Former Americans forward, Judd Blackwater could return tonight for Ontario. He has missed the last several games due to injury.
