TAMPA - After losing 6-4 in game one of a double-header, the Tampa Yankees took a walk-off win in a 2-1 final in nine innings against the Brevard County Manatees on Saturday night at George M. Steinbrenner Field.

The Manatees scored early against Gabriel Encinas in game one. Taylor Brennan doubled and advanced on a wild pitch before scoring on a single by Clint Coulter.

Tampa rallied for three runs in the third to take the lead. Mike Ford hit a two-out RBI single to score Tyler Wade. Mark Payton followed with a single and the runners advanced on a wild pitch by Brandon Woodruff (1-1). A walk by Michael O'Neill loaded the bases before Ericson Leonora hit a two-run single into left field.

The lead didn't last long for the T-Yanks as Brevard County collected three runs in the fourth. After a pair of singles, RHP Chad Taylor (0-1) relieved Encinas with two outs. The T-Yanks brought the go-ahead run to the plate in the seventh after an RBI single by Mark Payton. RHP Trevor Seidenberger ended the Yankee threat by striking out the side for his second save of the year.

The game went into extras, tied at 1-1. RHP Cale Coshow (1-0) made his Tampa Yankee debut and dealt a 1-2-3 inning in the eighth. Coshow surrendered a leadoff single in the ninth, but turned a 1-6-3 double play on a ball bunted back towards the mound.

Ford led off the Yankees ninth with a single against RHP Preston Gainey (1-1). Wade entered as a pinch runner for Ford and advanced on a hit-by-pitch to O'Neill.
