Smokies Announce Tennessee Spirits at the Smokies Festival

KODAK - The Tennessee Smokies are partnering with the Tennessee Distilleries Guild to host the first-ever "Tennessee Spirits at the Smokies Festival" at Smokies Stadium on Saturday, June 27. Attendees to this four-hour event will be able to sample spirits from over 24 of the best Tennessee distilleries, including Jack Daniel's and Old Forge Distillery, while there will also be food and live entertainment.

"The Tennessee Distillers Guild is excited to partner with the Smokies in bringing together the best craft distilleries from across the state under one roof," stated Tennessee Distillers Guild Distillery Manager Kris Tatum. "We believe we have the best tasting spirits in the world and look forward to showcasing the wide variety of those spirits to the visitors and local patrson on June 27."

"We're very excited to be joining forces with the Tennessee Distillers Guild to host this first-ever event of its kind at Smokies Stadium," stated Smokies Vice President Chris Allen. "We're looking forward to bringing in the finest spirits and provide our guests with the best that Tennessee has to offer for what's sure to be a fun evening."

Visitors will be able to sample the best spirits the state of Tennessee has to offer, with more than 24 distilleries expected to set up shop. Included among that company is Jack Daniel's, whose distillery is located in Lynchburg, Tennessee, and Old Forge Distillery, which is centered in nearby Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

In addition to providing guests with unlimited samples of spirits, the festivites will also include live music and great food throughout the festival, which will begin at 6:00 p.m. and last until 10:00 p.m. Jeff Arnett, Jack Daniel's Head Distiller will also be on hand to pose for pictures with attendees and sign autographs, while all guests will also receive a five ounce sample glass included with the purchase of their ticket.

Tickets are now on sale at the special early bird price of $40 dollars until June 1, after which the price of admission increase to $50 dollars. Tickets will also be available at the door on the day of the event for $55 dollars, while a designated driver ticket will also be offered at the low price of only $20 dollars.
