Madison, Wis. - The Madison Mallards are pleased to announce the signings of outfielder Cameron Frost (Washington State University), outfielder Scott Tyler (Ball State University) and two left-handed pitchers Justin Hill and Grant Spranger (Southeastern Community College) to their 2015 roster.

Frost, a 6'2", 180-pound outfielder, will join the Mallards following his sophomore campaign with the Cougars. Over 124 at-bats this spring, Frost owns a .224 batting average with two home runs and six stolen bases against Pac-12 pitching. His 25 runs batted in this season are second-most of any player on Washington State's roster.

Originally from Olympia, Washington, Frost attended his hometown high school where he became a four-time letter winner in baseball and was selected to play in Perfect Game's World Series as a senior. His freshman season with Washington State yielded a .226 batting average in 31 at-bats. His father, Mike, played college baseball at Southwest Texas State.

Tyler, a 6'2", 205-pound outfielder, will suit up for Madison after completing his junior season with the Cardinals program. He has compiled a .283 batting average, .722 on-base-plus-slugging percentage with two home runs from the left side of the plate for Ball State in 2015 and has committed just one error over 40 games in the outfield.

Born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Tyler became a three-time letter winner at Roosevelt High School in his hometown and won a state championship in baseball as a junior. Prior to his time at Ball State, Tyler attended Barton Community College for two years, batting .363 with 73 runs batted in and 31 extra-base hits during his second season.

Hill, a 6'0", 175-pound left-handed pitcher, will join manager Donnie Scott's staff following his sophomore season with Southeastern Community College. In ten starts for the Blackhawks, Hill is 5-3 with an ERA of 3.40, WHIP of 1.28 and team-leading 11.7 strikeouts-per-nine-innings ratio with one complete game to his credit. As a freshman, the Bettendorf, Iowa, native authored a 2.34 ERA and 10.5 K/9 ratio over 80.2 innings of work for Southeastern CC.

Spranger, a 6'1", 205-pound southpaw, will join the Mallards after his freshman campaign with the Blackhawks. He has compiled a team-high two complete games this season en route to a 6-1 record, 5.19 ERA and 7.0 K/9 ratio primarily from the back end of Southeastern CC's starting rotation. Spranger is also originally from Bettendorf, Iowa.
