Potomac Nationals Game Notes vs. Wilmington Blue Rocks

May 12, 2015 - Carolina League (CarL1)
Potomac Nationals News Release

The Potomac Nationals (13-18) begin a six-game, two-city road trip tonight at Daniel S. Frawley Stadium vs. the Wilmington Blue Rocks (16-14). It marks the third time the P-Nats and Blue Rocks have met and it will be a best-of-three series.

RF Brandon Miller is back in the lineup for the third day in a row after connecting for two home runs in yesterday's 5-1 win over Frederick to earn the series split with the Keys. Miller has homered in two straight contests and becomes the first P-Nat with a two-homer game since John Wooten did it in Game Three of the Mills Cup Championship Series in 2014.

The Nationals send the number three overall prospect RHP Reynaldo Lopez (1-0, 0.00) to the mound tonight in Game One of the series to make his second start since joining the Red, White and Blue. He will face off against RHP Yender Caramo (1-1, 2.67) for the Blue Rocks.
