Flying Tigers Return Home Friday for Weekend of Family Fun

Lakeland, FL - The Lakeland Flying Tigers return home for a three-game series against the Dunedin Blue Jays May 15-17. Tickets for all home games are available by calling the Flying Tigers at (863) 686-8075 or visiting LakelandFlyingTigers.com. Box seats are $6 and reserved seats are $5. Seniors 55 and over, children 14 and under and active military personnel receive a $1.00 discount. Day of game tickets are an additional $1 (excluding Monday's). Monday tickets are $1. Wednesday All-You-Can-Eat tickets are $10 (in advance). Saturday tickets are an additional $1. Parking is FREE.

The Flying Tigers will be giving away Flying Tigers caps to the first 300 paid fans that enter the stadium.

Valleyview Elementary School Spirit Night

The Flying Tigers will be welcoming out Valleyview Elementary students for their Spirit Night. Students, faculty, teachers and families will be on hand to show their school spirit. Students will be involved with all the in game promotions, including performing the National Anthem.

Patriotic Fireworks Extravaganza following the game (weather permitting) sponsored by Corona and the Ledger Media Group.

Armed Forces Day

The Flying Tigers will be honoring current and retired members of the military for their service to the country. Veterans and current military personnel will also receive FREE admission. There will be a special JROTC Pass and Review celebration on the field prior to the game and a special swearing in ceremony for new recruits.

Tiger Trot 5K

The Flying Tigers annual Tiger Trot 5K will take place on Saturday, May 16 at Joker Marchant Stadium. The race will begin at 8:00 am with registration and packet pickup beginning at 7:00 am. Trophies will be awarded to the Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female as well as age group winners. 5K entry fee is $30 and includes race t-shirt (while supplies last) and a special dog tag. Kids Club Night Sponsored by Cobb Theatre

North Lakeland Little League Night

The Flying Tigers will be hosting North Lakeland Little League team parties before and during the game. Each team will parade on the field prior to the game.

Boy Scouts Night

The Flying Tigers will welcome out area Boy Scout members to the game for a special evening. Each Boy Scout will receive a commemorative patch, admission to the game and will take part in a pre-game parade on the field.

Pre-Game

Tattoo and balloon artists from Twisted Artz will be in the main concourse beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Sunday, May 17 vs. Dunedin Blue Jays @ 1:00 p.m. (Gates open at 12:00 p.m.)

Kids Day

- All kids 14 and under will receive free admission to the game.

- Kids can play catch on the field beginning at 12:00 p.m. (weather permitting).

- Kids can also run the bases just like the Flying Tigers following the game (weather permitting).

- All fans will receive a voucher for a free sundae, compliments of Dairy Queen - North Lakeland.

Lakeland City Baseball Day

- The Flying Tigers will be hosting Lakeland City Baseball's team parties before and during the game. Each team will parade on the field prior to the game.
