LANCASTER, Calif. - Two new additions to the JetHawks roster combined to allow just one run on five hits in a 3-1 victory over the Lake Elsinore Storm on Saturday night at The Hangar.

Tandem starter Joe Musgrove (1-0) recorded the win in his JetHawks (15-15) debut, striking out six batters over four innings pitched. The right-hander retired the first nine batters he faced and allowed just one hit.

In the top of the second inning, the Storm scored their lone run against Lancaster starter Bryan Radziewski. Gabriel Quintana reached first base on a throwing error by third baseman J.D. Davis, then scored on a Yale Rosen RBI triple.

Over five innings of work, Radziewski struck out five batters while walking none and allowing four hits.

The JetHawks tied the score on a RBI triple by Danry Vasquez in the bottom of the third, then took the lead against Storm (15-15) starter Rafael De Paula (2-2) on Vasquez's first home run of the season in the sixth.

After a Jack Mayfield leadoff triple in the seventh inning, the JetHawks extended their lead to 3-1 on a sacrifice fly by James Ramsay against Lake Elsinore reliever Luis Hernandez.

Catcher Alfredo Gonzalez, also making his Lancaster debut, went 1-for-3 at the plate and scored the club's first run.

Jose Fernandez went 0-for-4, snapping a 17-game hitting streak that was the longest in the California League this season.

The win extended the JetHawks winning streak to four games and ensured a series victory in the three-game set against the Storm.
