Hitmen Acquire Rights to Andrew Fyten from Everett Silvertips

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen Hockey Club today announced they have acquired the rights to 1998-born forward Andrew Fyten from the Everett Silvertips in exchange for a conditional sixth round pick in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.

Fyten, a 6-0, 180-pound centre from Sundre, Alberta, played this past season with CSSHL's Edge School Midget Prep Mountaineers where he tallied 44 points (22g, 22a) in 62 games along with 185 penalty minutes.

Fyten was originally selected by Everett in the fifth round, 108th overall, in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft. He's also a graduate of the Airdrie AAA Bantam Xtreme where he served as co-captain during the 2012-13 season.
