Giants Draft Taphorn in Third Round

Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants are proud to announce that the club has selected forward Kaeden Taphorn with the 47th overall pick in the third round of the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft.

"Kaeden is a big and strong power forward with good scoring touch," said Giants Executive Vice President and General Manager Scott Bonner. "He plays a hard, heavy game."

Taphorn, a 6'0", 165 lbs native of Yorkton, Saskatchewan, tallied 101 points (41 goals, 60 assists) in 31 games with the Yorkton UCT Terriers Bantam AA team to go along with 32 penalty minutes.
