Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (7-20) play the "rubber match" of a three-game series against the third-place Louisville Bats (11-15) at Louisville Slugger Field... With an impressive 12-1 win last night, the Pigs snapped a four-game losing streak and improved to 1-4 on this six-game, West Division road trip. Still, the Pigs have dropped 16 of their last 20 contests after starting 3-4... The Bats -- Cincinnati's top affiliate -- have now won four of their last six games, including a season-high, three-game winning streak from April 30 to May 2. The Bats still took their prior series set in Buffalo, 2-1, for their first series victory in their last five tries... After starting franchise history losing their first three series at LSF (2-10), the Pigs haven't lost a series in Kentucky in the past four years (10-8)... The Pigs next have their first off day of 2015 on Thursday before starting a three-game set against Gwinnett (12-13) on Friday at Coca-Cola Park.
RHP David Buchanan (NR) will start for LHV against RHP Matt Magill (1-1, 8.38)
First Pitch tonight is at 6:35 p.m.
