Captains Begin Brief Three-Game Home Stand on Thursday

(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, the Class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, will begin a brief three-game home stand on Thursday as the Great Lakes Loons (Dodgers) return to Classic Park. All three games begin at 6:30 PM.

Thursday is Thirsty Thursday, presented by Labatt and ESPN 850 WKNR. Thirsty Thursday features a .25-cent Labatt Beer Happy Hour for one hour before game time and half-price domestic draft beer until 9 PM and half-price soda all game long. Game time is 6:30

As part of Thirsty Thursday, the Captains will offer an all-you-can eat wing and pizza buffet outside the Corona Castaways Bar for only $14.

Thursday will also feature an All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet in the Captains Cove, the Captains newest luxury area located on the suite level of Classic Park. The $25 ticket includes admission to The Cove, an all-you-can-eat buffet and non-alcoholic beverages.

Friday is the first of nine Friday Fireworks Nights presented by Cell Phone Repair. The Fireworks will be set to a Heavy Metal music soundtrack.

On Friday OnDeck Capital returns to Classic Park with their interactive concourse display and opportunity for fans to win great prizes. In addition, the Captains will be honoring Myers Homes as the OnDeck Capital Small Business of the Month for the month of May. Area small businesses can learn how to become the OnDeck Small Business of the Month and receive the chance to throw out a first pitch at an upcoming game by visiting OnDeck's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/OnDeckCapital.

Friday is also Golf Night and many local golf professionals will be on hand providing helpful golf tips and several golf courses will be represented. There is a special ticket package for only $20 and will include a box seat ticket, an exclusive CaptainsShack t-shirt and a chance to win golf-related prizes.

The first of ten Saturday Fireworks Nights presented by Monreal Funeral Home and Cremation Service will take place on Saturday and will have a Pop Rock soundtrack.

Also on Saturday, the Captains will honor Mother's the day prior to Mother's Day with a special carnation giveaway presented by J.D. Ballantine's Flowers and Gifts.
