Pitchers on the Move for Dash

Winston-Salem Dash News Release

The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster moves affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:

- RHP Tony Bucciferro promoted to Double-A Birmingham from Winston-Salem

- RHP Jake Cose activated from seven-day disabled list

Bucciferro returns to Double-A after making six starts with the Barons late last season. In his four outings with the Dash in 2015, the former Michigan State star went 1-2 with a 5.01 earned run average.

Cose missed all of last year and the first month of this season due to a back injury. Between Winston-Salem and Low-A Kannapolis in 2013, Cose was 11-8 with a 3.28 ERA over 159.1 innings, which were good for a tie for fourth place in all of Class A baseball. The Stockton, Calif., native was the Carolina League's Topps Player of the Month for August of 2013, when he went 4-1 with a 2.35 ERA. Cose will join the Dash's rotation and start on Wednesday night at Frederick.
