PHILADELPHIA (May 1, 2015) - The 2015 season marks the tenth season the Philadelphia Soul have been a part of the Arena Football League. Here are ten facts you should know about Philadelphia's most winning team:

Philly Proud - For all ten seasons, the Philadelphia Soul have played in the Wells Fargo Center (previous Wachovia Center). This is the main indoor arena located in South Philly and is also home to the Philadelphia Flyers and Philadelphia 76ers.

NFL Experience - Seven players on the Soul's current roster have had past NFL experience. Players who have had the opportunity to show their talents to the NFL are Beau Bell, Caleb Bostic, Shannon Breen, Kent Richardson, Bryan Robinson, Marco Thomas, and Padric Scott.

Legend Clint Dolezel - Aside from leading the Soul to a winning record the past three seasons, the 2012 AFL Hall of Fame inductee had a storied 13-year playing career where he still finds himself amongst the all-time leaders in passing yards (No. 3 with 44,564), touchdown passes (No. 2 with 931), passing attempts (No. 4 with 5,698), and completions (No. 4 with 3,749). He was also named the No. 8 top player in AFL history by the Silver Anniversary Committee in 2012.

Soulman - Soulman has been the official team mascot since the team entered the League in 2004. He can be seen at all home games, constantly interacting with fans, and at most Soul appearances.

Soul Owners - The Philadelphia Soul ownership is a recipe for success. Majority owner Ron Jaworski has many roles, but is mostly known for his former Eagles career and current ESPN analyst role. Majority owner Craig Spencer is the CEO of the Arden Group, one of the biggest real estate companies in the northeast. Co-owner Pete Ciarrocchi is the CEO of Philadelphia's very own Chickie's and Pete's. Co-owner Cosmo DeNicola owns and operates Cosmo DeNicola Companies, an ever-growing portfolio of businesses ranging from sports, entertainment, healthcare, and technology. Martin Judge is CEO and founder of The Judge Group.

2008 ArenaBowl Champions - The Philadelphia Soul won the Arena Bowl in 2008, defeating the San Jose SaberCats 59-56 in New Orleans. This is the franchise's only Arena Bowl championship and members of the winning team came to the home opener on April 12, 2015 and were honored at halftime.

Marques Colston - The current NFL player and Super Bowl champion joined the Soul's ownership group in the Fall of 2014. He is a wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints Colston is the Saint's all-time franchise leader in receiving yards, yards from scrimmage, receiving touchdowns, total touchdowns and total receptions.

Winningest Team in Philly - Out of all the professional sports teams in Philadelphia, the Soul are on top. In the past three seasons the Philadelphia Soul have had the highest winning percentage in town out of all the Philadelphia professional sports teams. The Soul are have an overall 41-18 record with a .695 winning percentage.

Bon Jovi Era - Superstar Jon Bon Jovi was a majority owner from 2004-2008. He was extremely active in the Soul franchise and helped bring the team to Philadelphia. Bon Jovi was with the team in New Orleans when they won the ArenaBowl.

Noteworthy Assistant Coaches - Assistant coaches Phil Bogle and Derek Stingley both have had stints in the NFL. Prior to being a player in the AFL, Stingley had brief stints with the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Jets. Bogle spent four years as a player in the NFL between three different teams.
