Seattle Reign FC News Release
SEATTLE (May 1, 2015)- Seattle Reign FC has selected Swedish as the designated official medical services sponsor of the franchise for the 2015 season.
The non-profit health provider will oversee a wide range of services for the players, including injury prevention and the evaluation of injuries, along with creating treatment plans that minimize the chance of re-injury.
"Having access to Swedish's extensive network of physicians and resources is a tremendous asset to the team," said Laura Harvey, general manager and head coach of Seattle Reign FC. "It means a great deal to our organization and to our fans that our players are in top form."
Carolyn A. Marquardt, MD - a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation - will supervise Reign FC's medical program.
