NASHVILLE, TN (April 28, 2015) - The Professional Indoor Football League (PIFL) is proud to announce the Week 6 Players of the Week.

Offensive Player of the Week: WR Terrence Ebagua (Columbus)

For the second time this season, Columbus WR Terrence Ebagua (6'7 220, Florida St.) scored four touchdowns in a single-game with the first time being back in Lions Week 3 win over Trenton. On Saturday, Ebagua came away with seven receptions for 132 yards booking four trips to the end-zone. Four out of five games this season he has crossed the century mark in yards leading all receivers in both yards and TD's. Up next for Ebagua and company is a trip to the Keystone State for a meeting against the Steelhawks with the winner leaving with sole possession of first place.

Honorable Mentions: WR Colin Larmond (Trenton), WR Charles McClain (Alabama)

Defensive Player of the Week: DB Ginikachi Ibe (Alabama)

Despite ending up on the losing side over the weekend, Hammers DB Ginikachi Ibe (6'0 180, McPherson College) picked up the Week 6 Defensive Player of the Week nomination after he tied the PIFL all-time single game record for interceptions in a game with three in their 74-53 loss to the Lions. No matter which team Ibe has suited up with, the 2012 PIFL Defensive Rookie of the Year has proven to be a thorn in the Lions side for the past couple of seasons having previously intercepted Columbus QB's a combined four times. His three picks from Saturday place the two-time All-PIFL performer in second overall, just one behind the league-leader Brian Smith of Richmond.

Honorable Mention: DB Joe Powell (Lehigh Valley), DB Corry Stewart (Nashville)

Special Teams Player of the Week: K Christian Reed (Nashville)

For the first time since Week 4, someone not named T.C. Stevens earned the Special Teams Player of the Week award. After back-to-back honorable mentions in Weeks 4 and 5, Nashville Venom Christian Reed (5'9 170, Wofford) broke the threshold giving him his second overall Special Teams nod this season. In Saturday's 69-49 win over Richmond, Reed scored a league-high 15 points connecting on three Uno's as well as going a perfect 9 for 9 on PAT attempts. He was also 1 of 3 on field goal attempts connecting on a 52-yard field goal, the longest field goal in the PIFL this season tying him for the second longest in PIFL history. The win brings the champs over .500 for the first time this season and will look to extend their two-game winning streak this Sunday when they pay their first ever visit to Erie to face the Explosion.

Honorable Mention: K Lindsey Wolfe (Columbus)

Week 7 of the PIFL kicks off this Saturday with a double-header beginning with Columbus heading north to the Hawks Nest to tangle with the Steelhawks. Kicking off an hour later is a rematch from Week 3 with the Alabama Hammers (3-2) returning home to host the Raiders (2-4). The weekend concludes with a clash of former champions with the Erie Explosion (1-3) hosting the Nashville Venom and their two-game winnings streak.
