GAME 1: BARONS 5, RAMPAGE 2

The Rampage took a 2-1 lead into the third period, but allowed four goals in the frame, leading to a 5-2 loss to the Barons in Game 1 of the Western Confer- ence Quarterfinals. Vincent Trocheck and Rocco Grimaldi each tallied goals for the Silver and Black, and Dan Ellis finished with 33 saves on 36 shots. Trailing 3-2 late in the third, the Rampage pulled Ellis for the extra attacker, and Barons scored two empty-net goals in the final 1:21 to secure the 5-2 win. Oklahoma City outshot the Rampage 38-31, including a 15-6 margin in the decisive third period. San Antonio finished 0-for-4 on the power play, while the Barons scored two goals on five opportunities with the man advantage.

GAME 2: BARONS 4, RAMPAGE 3 (OT) Connor Brickley, Corban Knight and John McFarland all scored to give San Antonio a 3-0 lead in the second period, but the Barons clawed their way back into the game, scoring three power-play goals and tying the game with 36 sec- onds left to force overtime. Connor Jones buried the overtime winner to give the Barons a 4-3 win and a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference Quarterfinals. Michael Houser made 35 saves on 39 shots. The Silver and Black finished with a 40-39 advantage in shots, but were outshot 16-9 in the third period and didn't record a shot on goal in the extra frame.

The Rampage host the Barons in Game 3 of the Western Con- ference Quarterfinals on Wednesday, April 29 at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center. It's a must-win game for the Rampage, who trail 2-0 in the series as it heads to the Alamo City for Game 3 and Games 4 and 5, if necessary.

BANNER UNVEILING: The Rampage will unveil their West Division Cham- pionship banner prior to the puck drop of Wednesday's game. San Antonio captured its first-ever West Division title with a 45-23-7-1 record in 2014-15, setting records for wins, goals, points and road wins in a season . This will be the first Rampage banner to be raised into the rafters at the AT&T Center.

ROOKIE LEADER: With a goal and an assist in the first two games of the Western Conference Quarterfinals, rookie forward Connor Brickley leads the Rampage with two points. PENALTY KILL: Five of the nine goals the Barons have scored in the sea- son series have come on the power play, as the Rampage have a 54.5% penal- ty kill rate. San Antonio was successful on the penalty kill 83.7% of the time during the regular season and finished at an 84% clip on the road.
