Penguins Return Seymour to Wheeling

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins today announced that defenseman Clark Seymour has been returned on loan to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL).

Seymour played in 54 games for the Nailers this season, recording one goal, 72 penalty minutes and ranking first among team defensemen with 14 assists. Currently in his first season of professional hockey, Seymour has also appeared in 12 contests for the Penguins, posting one assist.

A 21-year old native of Brockville, Ontario, Seymour was originally a fifth-round pick (143rd overall) of the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2012. Seymour skated for five seasons in the Ontario Hockey League (2009-14) between Peterborough and Kingston, collecting 57 points (14G-43A) and 272 PIM over 288 contests.

Trailing 3-2 in their first-round series versus Toledo, the Nailers visit the Walleye for Game 6 on Tuesday, Apr. 28 at 7:35 p.m.
