Giles Barnes and Benny Feilhaber each scored two goals and the Dynamo and Sporting Kansas City played to a wild 4-4 draw on Saturday night at BBVA Compass Stadium.

The Dynamo remain at home to host FC Dallas on Friday, May 1 at 8 p.m. CT at BBVA Compass Stadium.

Krisztian Németh delivered Sporting KC a 1-0 lead just two minutes into the game as Sporting KC broke from midfield and the Hungarian guided a pinpoint shot inside the far post for his third goal of the season.

The Dynamo answered nine minutes later as Barnes collected a blocked clearance and volleyed into the upper corner from 15 yards to tie the game.

Houston seized the lead in first half stoppage time as Brad Davis served a corner kick and Will Bruin steered a deft header from a tough angle inside the far side of the net for a 2-1 lead.

Less then a minute after halftime, Houston added to the margin as Barnes collected a ball from Nathan Sturgis and burst through midfield before unleashing a low strike that stayed inside the right post for a 3-1 advantage and his fourth goal of the season.

Sporting KC pulled within a goal in the 74th minute as Barnes directed a back pass to Deric but it was well read by Dom Dwyer, who beat Deric to the pass at the edge of the box, cut around the Dynamo goalkeeper, and tapped into an empty net.

Six minute later, Jermaine Taylor was judged by referee Kevin Stott to have handled the ball with his arm when he appeared to block Németh's goal-bound shot with his chest. Stott issued Taylor a red card and awarded Sporting KC a penalty.

The Dynamo were reduced to 10 players and Feilhaber converted the penalty kick to even the score, 3-3.

Houston appeared to claim the winner in the 83rd minute as Davis served a set piece from the right flank and Raúl Rodríguez rose to head into the bottom corner for a 4-3 lead.

It was Rodríguez' first goal with the Dynamo.

But Sporting KC produced the game's final moment in the fifth minute of stoppage time. Graham Zusi headed a pass to Feilhaber just outside the penalty area and the midfielder cracked a low drive inside the right post for the equalizing goal.
