A Bleu-Blanc-Noir Mosaic for Wednesday Night
April 25, 2015 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Club de Foot Montreal News Release
MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact invites all of its supporters to arrive early for the decisive game of the Champions League finals against Club América, this Wednesday, at Olympic Stadium.
The club`s number 12 is requested at 7pm in order to welcome the team onto the pitch for the warmup period.
Then at 8pm, all spectators who are in the bowl at Olympic Stadium could take part in a giant mosaic covering the entire stadium. At every seat will be a coloured cardboard to be held out at arm`s length to welcome the players as they enter the field in a unique and spectacular fashion. This mosaic will be the biggest ever unveiled at a sporting event in Quebec.
A number 12 tifo will also be deployed in conjunction with the mosaic, while Impact supporters groups will show their Montreal colours as well.
More than ever before, fans are asked to wear their blue colours, while singing and cheering throughout the entire night, in order to play the role of the number 12 to perfection.
The club has already confirmed that over 59,000 people will be in the stands, which eclipses the 56,783 present at the Estadio Azteca last Wednesday night, in Mexico
The organization also invites all of those attending to arrive early in order to avoid traffic at Olympic Park and the wait lines to pickup tickets, as well as at the main entrance, due to security procedures.
With only 3,500 parking spots available at Olympic Stadium, it is highly recommended that you use the metro (access via Pie-IX).
