Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (4-11) play Game 2 of a four-game series against the first-place Buffalo Bisons (10-4) at Coca-Cola Park... With an 11-1 loss last night, the Pigs have dropped back-to-back contests and have fallen to 0-1 on the current eight-game homestand. They've also lost five consecutive games and 13 of their last 14 match-ups to Buffalo going back to July 21, 2014... The Bisons -- Toronto's top affiliate -- have now won nine of their last 10 games -- including a four-game, home sweep of the Pigs from April 16-19 and a season-high, six-game winning streak April 15-19.
LHP Joely Rodriguez (0-1, 4.30) will start for LHV against RHP Austin Bibens-Dirkx (0-0, 1.80).
Tonight features Friday Night Fireworks, presented by Giant Food Stores... First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
