Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC News Release

PITTSBURGH (April 24, 2015) - The Pittsburgh Riverhounds meet a third consecutive expansion team in USL play Saturday evening when Toronto F.C. II visits Highmark Stadium. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

A win has become increasingly vital for the Hounds (1-1-2, five points) after letting a one-goal lead slip in injury time last Sunday against Louisville City.

Toronto F.C. II (1-2-1, four points) sits slightly behind the Hounds in the USL's Eastern Conference after the first month of the season. The Canadians opened their campaign with four games on the road as they await completion of the new 5,000-seat Ontario Soccer Centre in Vaughan, Ontario.

"They're a very dangerous team with two good strikers," said Riverhounds head coach Mark Steffens. "A lot will depend on the players they bring with them, whether it's guys with first team experience or Academy kids."

Hounds defender Fejiro Okiomah is doubtful for the game after straining his quad muscle twice in the past two weeks.

Defender Drew Russell and forward Max Touloute will definitely miss Saturday's game as they both recover from knee injuries. The duo is expected to be in contention for next weekend's trip to the New York Red Bulls II.

Matt Dallman made a return to the substitutes' bench in last week's tie with Louisville City. The 30-year-old winger could see his first minutes of the new season after returning to full training in the past week.

South African playmaker Lebo Moloto suffered an ankle knock in training this week. He is expected to be available Saturday.

Toronto will be without the suspended Mark-Anthony Kaye after the 20-year-old midfielder was dismissed during last week's 1-1 tie at Whitecaps F.C. 2.

The Riverhounds have faced Toronto F.C.'s reserve side twice previously in inter-league play between Major League Soccer and USL teams. Jose Angulo netted in an ill-tempered 1-1 tie at Highmark Stadium in June 2013. The former Hounds striker scored the only goal of the game when Pittsburgh came away from BMO Field with three points the following month.

Tickets for Saturday's game are still available. Visit Riverhounds.com for details or call the Highmark Stadium box office on (412) 325-7241 to speak to a ticket representative.

Fans will also be able to watch the game live at Riverhounds.com.
