MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has re-signed forward Amber Harris. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

Harris was originally selected by the Minnesota Lynx with the 4th overall pick in the 2011 WNBA Draft. Over her three year career with the Lynx, she has averaged 3.0 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. Harris played a career-high 30 games in 2013 but went on to miss the entire 2014 season due to an injury.

An Indianapolis, Indiana, native, Harris helped the Lynx win the WNBA Championship in 2011 and 2013. Harris appeared in six postseason contests in 2011 and averaged 1.5 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.2 assists. In 2013 she appeared in five of Minnesota's seven playoff games, averaging 0.8 points and 0.8 rebounds.

Currently Harris is playing overseas in Poland for Energa Torun. She has appeared in 13 Polish League games, averaging 4.2 points and 3.0 rebounds per contest.

Prior to being drafted by the Lynx, Harris played her collegiate career at Xavier, where she left as only the second Musketeer player in school history to surpass 2,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds. Harris became the first player in school history to be honored as a WBCA State Farm All-American in 2009-10. She ranks first on Xavier's all-time blocked shots list (361 career blocks) and scored 20+ points 37 times in her career.
