Reign Sign Goaltender Coleman Vollrath to ATO

LOVELAND, Colo. - The Ontario Reign, four-time ECHL Pacific Division Champions and proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's 2014 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, announced that the club has signed goaltender Coleman Vollrath to an amateur tryout agreement (ATO).
Vollrath, 20, played the 2014-15 regular season with the Victoria Royals of the Western Hockey League, appearing in 53 games with a 28-15-4 record, a 2.99 goals-against average, .905 save percentage and six shutouts. The 6-foot, 174-pound stopper was also named the Canadian Hockey League's goaltender of the week for the week ending Mar. 15.
The Calgary, Alberta native began his junior career with the Royals in the 2012-13 season, and has posted career totals of 52-35-8 with a 2.88 goals-against average, .909 save percentage and seven shutouts in 114 appearances with Victoria.
Vollrath will dress for the Reign tonight in Game 3 of Ontario's Pacific Division Semifinals series against Colorado, wearing No. 1.
