Jackson Generals News Release

Jackson, Tenn. - The scheduled contest between Jackson and Mississippi on Sunday afternoon has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday, June 2 starting at 5 pm.

Fans who had tickets to Sunday's ballgame will be able to exchange them for a ticket to any other home game throughout the 2015 season by coming to the box office.

Mississippi (5-4) earned the series victory, taking three of the four games played at the Ballpark at Jackson. Jackson (2-6) fell by a 7-3 final on Saturday night, the only nine-inning contest of the series that wasn't suspended. The Generals earned their first home victory as part of a twin-bill on Thursday behind a pair of home runs.

Jackson's season-long ten-game homestand continues with a series against the Tennessee Smokies (6-3) starting on Monday. Misael Siverio (0-0, 0.00), Sunday's scheduled starter, will get the ball for his second start of the season opposite Tennesssee righty Corey Black (1-0, 3.00). First pitch is at 7:05 pm CT, and fans can listen to the game on the TJ Network (AM 1390, FM 94.1 and 94.3) starting at 6:50 pm CT with the Jackson Generals Pregame Show protected by the Tennessee Army National Guard.

Tickets to all five games of the series are available by calling the Generals at (731) 988.5299, stopping by the park or going online to jacksongeneralsbaseball.com.
