The Bats right-hander Raisel Iglesias (0-0) made his Triple-A debut tonight, after starting one game for the Cincinnati Reds this season (5.40 ERA, 0-0). Iglesias worked hard against the Indians going five strong innings, allowing just three hits, with one earned run, one walk, and three strike-outs. Tonight marks the Bats' fifth straight game the starting pitcher has gone at least 5.0 innings and allowed one run or less.

The Bats jumped out to a quick 1-0 score in the first inning by a Bryson Smith's RBI single, knocking in Steve Selsky who had previously doubled to the wall. Selsky's double was his first of the season. The Bats were 3-1 when scoring first before tonight's game, they are now 3-2 when scoring first.

In the bottom of the fourth inning the Indians tied the game at one with a RBI double by right fielder, Steve Lombardozzi which scored the Indians' Jaff Decker. The Bats finally got some momentum and took the lead in the top of the 13th from a RBI single by Dan Johnson scoring Irving Falu, who led off the 13th with a single to center.

The Indians followed up with a rally of their own, the Bats righty Nick Christiani walked Decker and Mel Rojas Jr to start the 13th. Lombardozzi singled to score Decker and pinch hitter Elias Diaz came in to win the game with a RBI single scoring Rojas Jr.

Indians right hander, Casey Sadler (1-0) pitched an exceptional ballgame and almost identical to Iglesias. He went six innings, allowing only four hits, one earned run, and four strike-outs.

Louisville is tied for second place with Columbus and Indianapolis in the International League West division. The Bats are two games behind the division leading Toledo Mudhens.

Tomorrow the Bats will return to Louisville to finish the five game split series with the Indians starting at 2:05 p.m. The pitching probable's for game four are RHP Josh Smith for the Bats and RHP Wilfredo Boscan for the Indians.
