MOBILE, Ala. - To our friends of the Mobile and southern Alabama media. This message serves as a courtesy reminder that the scheduled baseball game between the Mobile BayBears vs. Biloxi Shuckers on Friday night, April 17 is still on and to be played as scheduled.
Heavy rains moved through the Mobile area earlier on Friday but the BayBears staff has been monitoring the weather and has taken the proper steps to prepare the field for play tonight.
The BayBears and Shuckers will start game three of their five game series at 7:05 PM this evening. Gates will open at 6:00 PM. After the conclusion of Friday's game, fans are invited to stick around for a postgame fireworks show at the stadium.
