Monarchs Sign Jonny Brodzinski to ATO

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have signed forward Jonny Brodzinski to an Amateur Try Out agreement (ATO). He will be available for tonight's game against Portland, wearing number 12.

Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough made the announcement.

Brodzinski, 21, signed a two-year entry-level contact with the Kings on April 2 following his junior season at St. Cloud State. The 6-foot forward surpassed 20 goals in all three seasons for the Huskies and recorded 112 points in 120 games total (64 goals, 48 assists). He had 21 goals and 17 assists this season, helping St. Cloud State to the NCAA Semifinals. A native of Blaine, MN, Brodzinski led NCAA Division I with 10 power-play goals this season. The Kings selected Brodzinski in the fifth round (148th overall) of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

The Monarchs will be home for the final weekend of the regular season with games against Portland tonight at 7 p.m. and Worcester on Saturday at 7 p.m.. They close out the regular season in Providence on Sunday.
