From the Notes

Tomás Debuts: 3B/OF Yasmany Tomás made his Major League debut last night in San Diego, appearing as a pinch-hitter in the seventh inning. He grounded out to second. Tomás joined RHP A.J. Schugel as Aces to make their ML debuts thus far in 2015.

Borenstein's Back: Outfielder Zach Borenstein was transferred from Double-A Mobile to Reno today, giving the Aces 25 active players on the roster. In four games for the BayBears, the 24-year-old hit .438 (7-for-16) with 1 double, 1 triple, 1 RBI, 4 runs scored and a stolen base. The D-backs acquired Borenstein last July in a trade with the Angels. He began in Mobile before seeing action with the Aces where he hit .260 (19-for-73) with 4 doubles, 1 triple, 5 homers and 15 RBI in 20 games.

Crabbe Patties: Right-handed long reliever Tim Crabbe ate up 2 1/3 innings yesterday while allowing just one base runner on a walk. He struck out three batters and lowered his ERA to 3.60 in two appearances. He entered to a two-out, bases-loaded, third-inning jam, but escaped to keep the Aces within one run, and prevent further damage to Robbie Ray's final line.
