Bob Brown Inducted into Kamloops Sports Hall of Fame

Former Kamloops Blazers General Manager Bob Brown was inducted into the Kamloops Sports Hall of Fame on April 12.

Brown was the Blazers General Manager for 10 seasons between 1985 and 1995. The Blazers won an astonishing five WHL titles in 1986, 1990, 1992, 1994 and 1995 under Brown's leadership.

The Blazers dynasty in the late 80s and 90s also won an unprecedented three Memorial Cups in four seasons. His record as General Manager of the Kamloops Blazers was 484-202-33.

Brown, who now scouts for the Edmonton Oilers, is also responsible for recruiting some terrific players including Scott Niedermayer, Daryl Sydor, Jarome Iginla, Shane Doan, Corey Hirsh and many more.

Brown's legacy to the Kamloops Blazers and the community is astonishing.
