Chiefs Announce Opening-Day Parking Procedures

April 15, 2015 - International League (IL1)
Syracuse Mets News Release

In anticipation of a large crowd tomorrow, Thursday afternoon, on Opening Day, the Syracuse Chiefs will be utilizing the parking lot just past the right field wall. This lot, commonly referred to as the "Netti Lot", will be open at 11:00 a.m. and can be accessed by 4th North St. off Hiawatha Blvd. The Chiefs play the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders at 2:05 p.m.

"We are expecting a big crowd and want to make it as easy on the fans as we can," said Chiefs general manager Jason Smorol. "If you have your ticket or just want a General Admission ticket the Netti Lot will be your best parking option. Parking and traffic can be a challenge on these big days and we are trying our best to make it as easy on the fans as we can. The distance from the Netti Lot to the stadium makes for a convenient and quick walk for fans."

Handicapped, season-ticket holders and suite guests will still be parking in the main lot at the stadium. The main lot will open at 11 a.m. as well as the "swing lot" next to the Byrne Dairy Warehouse. If needed, the Chiefs will utilize the Regional Market lot as needed.

First pitch for Thursday's home opener is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Tickets to Opening Day - a $1.00 Thursday presented by 95X - and all other Chiefs games are available and can purchased online at syracusechiefs.com, by calling the box office at 315-474-7833 or visiting the NBT Bank Stadium ticket office during normal business hours.
