Last Game: The OKC Dodgers opened their series against Nashville with a 5-3 win Monday in Bricktown. Starting pitcher Joe Wieland (1-0) struck out nine batters over 5.0 innings, allowing three hits and three runs (two earned) to earn the win. Reliever Freddy Garcia pitched three scoreless innings and Adam Liberatore (SV, 1) earned the save with a scoreless and hitless ninth as OKC's pitchers combined to strike out 13. Nashville took the first lead of the game quickly in the first inning. Billy Burns drew a leadoff walk and scored on a one-out RBI double by Max Muncy. Muncy later scored on a fielding error for a 2-0 Nashville lead. With the bases empty and two outs in the second inning, the Dodgers rallied two score twice and tie the game, capped with a two-run triple by Buck Britton. A solo homer from Andy Parrino gave Nashville a 3-2 lead in the third, but a three-run fourth put the OKC Dodgers ahead for good. With the bases loaded and two outs, Elliot Johnson tied the game with a RBI single, and Darnell Sweeney followed with a two-run single for a 5-3 advantage. After the fourth, Nashville only had two hits, and Wieland, Garcia, and Liberatore combined retire 20 of the final 22 batters. Nashville starting pitcher Brad Mills (0-1) was charged with the loss.
