Vancouver, BC (Monday, April 13, 2015) - Two members of the Vancouver Stealth have been announced to Team Canada's 37-man training roster for the 2015 FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championship (WILC) to be held September 18-27 on the Ondonga Nation in Syracuse, New York.

Forward Rhys Duch and goaltender Tyler Richards will look to crack the final 23-man roster. Duch is leading the Stealth in scoring once again this season. The Victoria native has 82 points (33g, 49a) in 15 games. Duch represented Team Canada at the 2011 WILC where they won gold in Prague, Czech Republic.

"It's a privilege to be invited back to play for your country," said Duch. "There's a lot of good players trying to make the team and I hope I can be one of those guys."

Richards, who was also part of that gold medal winning team in 2011 is in his seventh year in the National Lacrosse League and continues to be one of the top goaltenders in the league. He has amassed 32 career wins and backstopped the Stealth to a Champions Cup in 2010.

"It's an honour to be selected and I'm looking forward to getting out there and trying to make the squad," said Richards.

The FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championship happens once every four years. Canada is unbeaten in international play with a 17-0 record in the three World Championships. Canada last faced the Haudenosaunne Nation in the 2011 World finals in Prague, Czech Republic, defeating them for the third-straight time in a WILC final 13-6.
