Sound Tigers Sign Brooks to ATO

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today that forward Calder Brooks has been signed to an Amateur Tryout Contract.
Brooks, 20, recorded 58 points (23 goals, 35 assists) in 52 games during his fourth full Western Hockey League season, split between the Prince Albert Raiders and the Spokane Chiefs. The Emerald Park, Sask., native had three assists in a six-game, opening round playoff series for Spokane.
Prior to the 2014-15 season, the 6-foot Brooks played two and a half seasons with the Calgary Hitmen before being traded to Prince Albert midway through the 2013-14 season. Brooks amassed 124 points (48 goals, 76 assists) in 194 WHL games.
